Unlike the ones you order in a restaurant, this recipe offers you baked and healthy fries, which are easy to make.

If you prefer a more savoury taste, then swap the cinnamon for black pepper and a dash of cayenne.

Ingredients (for four people):

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, scrubbed
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit. Cut the ends of the sweet potatoes and peel them if they are not organic. Slice them lengthwise, then into 1/4″ thick strips.

Put the potato slices in a large bowl, add the coconut oil, cinnamon and salt. Make sure that all pieces are coated.

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet. Bake them for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges become lightly browned, flipping halfway.
